Delhi Kannada Sr. Sec. School was established in the year 1961 by the Delhi Kannada Education Society for providing general education to the children from Karnataka and others residing in the NCT of Delhi. The school is recognized by the Directorate of Education and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school imparts education according to the 10 + 2 pattern of Central Board of Secondary Education.
The objective of the school is to impart quality education to all the students in order to ensure all round development of their mind, body and soul. This would enable them to become morally and ethically upright citizens who would excel in various fields and bring laurels to the Nation.
The school is recognized by the Directorate of Education, Delhi and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The school imparts education according to the 10+2 pattern of CBSE. New session of pre-primary classes has commenced from the session 2011-12.
Admission to various classes is subject to availability of seats. The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission without assigning any reason.
A child below the age of five years as on 31st March, shall not be eligible for admission to Class-I. Registrations for Class-I are generally open in the month of January/February. Transfer cases will be considered separately
Where a student seeks admission on the basis of a Transfer Certificate granted by a school in any state or Union Territory, other than Delhi, such a transfer certificate should be countersigned by the Education Authority of that District / State concerned.
